LGBTQIA+ Youth Host Family Program
Harvey's Houses is a new initiative through Harvey House of Northwest Ohio. This new program will be a transitional housing program for homeless and housing insecure LGBTQ+ youth ages 18-24. This program would match eligible young adults with host families who will provide room and board free of charge, while the young adult works with a case manager to help remove barriers to them obtaining their own housing. This could include finding a job, finishing an education, or completing court requirements.
Greenhouse for Year-Round Local Herbs
Herbaceous’s goal is to build a greenhouse for supplying goods year round with a local, organic herb farm that supplies both professional chefs and home cooks with product so fresh it is picked and delivered the same day by the same hands. Herbaceous is Ohio's first and only all herb (culinary) farm.
Preservation of Historic Roulet Dies
Deep In Design acquired a 1930's HJ Reusch Percussion Press that was owned by Roulet Jewelers, a 140-year-old Toledo business that consolidated and closed its downtown location. The preservation of the dies document in a very unique way 140 years of Toledo history. They are stewards and promoters of this incredible collection.
